Petaling Jaya, 22 January - Twigs proudly announces the official opening of its newest outlet at The Curve, Mutiara Damansara. A special event was held at The Curve Shopping Mall today in conjunction with the official opening and it was well attended by esteemed guests comprising of book publishers, brand owners, shopping mall landlords, friends and family members.
The highlight of the official opening ceremony was a heartfelt welcome address by Mr. Donald Kee, Managing Director of GR8 Retail Group, who expressed his gratitude and excitement for the new outlet.
He said, “Today's official opening is very special for all of us at Twigs. It marks a new milestone for us as we embark on an expansion journey. I am proud to say that Twigs has gained much accolades in a very short span of time and all this would not have been possible if not because of your continuous support”.
Following the welcome address, a momentous ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the main entrance of the brand-new store. It was officiated by distinguished guests, Mr.Kee, En. Jazmi Kamaruddin, Chief Operations Officer of Boustead, Ms. Ivy Tan and Ms. Michelle Cheong, Directors of GR8 Retail Group, Ms. Winnie Pooh, Director of OMG Marketing and Mr. C.K. Tan, Operations Manager of Twigs.
Guests were then graciously invited to tour the store, giving them the firsthand experience of the 4,200 square feet store, which was meticulously curated. They were greeted by the diverse range of books and lifestyle merchandise on display, spacious walkways, Instagram-able book arches, gift-wrapping counter, cozy reading nooks, a book lounge with a purpose-built pantry for special events and a colourful kids’ reading platform to help spark the love of reading amongst the little ones.
